RAVEN ARMOR · E-COMMERCE
Turning a Large Fashion Catalogue Into a Structured Shopping Experience
Raven Armor offers an extensive collection of leather jackets, coats, motorcycle wear, and fashion pieces across men’s, women’s, and kids’ categories. I worked on the e-commerce experience to make a large and varied product catalogue easier to explore, compare, and purchase across devices.
The Project
Building E-Commerce Around a Catalogue With Thousands of Product Choices
Raven Armor isn’t a small online store with a handful of products. Its catalogue spans men’s and women’s fashion, motorcycle wear, jackets, coats, vests, and numerous specialist product categories. The live catalogue currently contains well over a thousand products in the men’s category alone.
That scale creates a different kind of e-commerce challenge. Customers need to move through categories efficiently, narrow large collections, compare options, understand product variations, and reach the right item without the catalogue becoming overwhelming.
Individual products also introduce another layer of complexity through different sizes, colours, custom sizing and other selectable options. Product pages therefore need to communicate enough information to support a purchase while keeping the buying process straightforward.
The objective was to support a shopping experience capable of handling catalogue depth, product discovery, product variations and conversion within one connected e-commerce environment.

THE APPROACH
Helping Customers Navigate Choice Without Creating Friction
With a catalogue this large, simply displaying products isn’t enough. The experience needs to help customers progressively narrow thousands of possibilities into the products that actually interest them.
I approached the store around a structured shopping journey — beginning with major product categories and collections, then giving customers ways to browse, filter, sort, compare, and inspect individual products in greater detail.
Product pages bring imagery, pricing, available variations, sizing and purchase actions together so customers can move from consideration to checkout without losing context. The live store also supports features including wishlist, product comparison and quick view to make browsing a large catalogue more manageable.
The focus was therefore not simply on putting more products online, but on creating an e-commerce structure capable of making a very large amount of choice easier to navigate.

WHAT I DELIVERED
An E-Commerce Experience Built to Handle Catalogue Scale
The solution brings together catalogue organisation, product discovery, variation management and purchasing functionality within an experience designed to support a broad and constantly expanding fashion catalogue.
01 — Catalogue Architecture
Structured products across categories and collections so customers can move through a large inventory without relying on one overwhelming product listing.
03 — Product & Variation Experience
Supported detailed product experiences with imagery, pricing, sizes, colours, custom options and purchase actions so customers can configure products before adding them to their cart.
02 — Product Discovery & Filtering
Created clearer browsing pathways through category navigation, filtering, sorting and product exploration, helping customers narrow large collections.
04 — Conversion-Focused E-Commerce
Connected product discovery with wishlist, comparison, quick-view, cart and purchasing functionality to create a more complete journey from browsing through buying.
THE RESULTS
A Scalable Storefront for a Large and Diverse Product Catalogue
Raven Armor now operates through an e-commerce experience capable of presenting a substantial catalogue across men’s, women’s, motorcycle and kids’ collections while still giving customers practical ways to explore individual products.
Customers can move from broad collections into increasingly specific product choices, compare options, select variations and continue into the purchasing journey without the size of the catalogue becoming the experience itself.
The result is a storefront designed not merely to hold a large inventory, but to make that inventory easier for customers to discover and shop.
